Here is the in car footage of the M2K Motorsports Ford GT going 300.4 MPH in the standing mile at the Texas Mile held in Victoria, Texas on March 24, 2019. Of you notice the lane changes around the 250 MPH mark and yes the car went to 306 MPH before the parachute hits just pass the mile marker.

That car is amazing! So cool Mark!

So incredibly fantastically awesome.

That is just unbelievable, thanks for putting this up. Incredible.

Mark what trans did you design?? I notice no shifting. I know you get this every time, but what new mods besides motor to push this beast past 300??

Fantastic, what a ride!

Nice chute deployment! Amazing run!

Congratulations Mark & your team! Awesome! Just. Awesome!

Still pulling hard at 300. Amazing

The best!! Love it!!!

What’s the top speed on that thing???

looked to be right around 9K rpm.. What a beast. Congrats

It's so fast it doesn't even seem right.

Any normal person would assume it's in KPH.

Amazing job!

We just crossed the mile marker at 8900 rpm. The plan was to spin it to 9400 if we needed to since it is still making power. That just goes to show the engine build that John Mihovetz of AccuFab Racing does on these motors. Nobody better than this guy when it comes to Ford 5.4 Mod Motors...

did you guys cross the line in 5th? or did he start in 2nd gear?

given enough room, I suspect the engine is strong enough to push the car to 350mph, if gearing and aero dont interrupt the run.

Holy crap that's incredible! Such an amazingly short amount of time!

I wanted to ask about transmission as well. Still running the Ricardo?

One hand on the wheel at 300 MPH. I would be so nervous. :) Nice Mark!

So what happens to the stock Speedo that only goes to 220 mph? Needle bent?

Here is another video of the MoTec data showing some shift points etc.

We started in 1st and crossed the finish line in 5th at 8900rpm. At the mile in Oct 2018 we tried going into 6th at 276mph but the car only went 293.. the car is still pulling in 6th, we just run out of real estate.
