Interesting thread with no clear consensus on what a new Bronco should be. Not tech savvy enough to create a poll here, so I'm wondering for those who own, or have had long term use of a Jeep (recent 5 years or newer) Wrangler 2 or 4 door. If I replaced the Jeep logo with a Blue Oval, with no other changes, at the same transaction price, would you find the quality level (water/air leaks and NVH) to be acceptable for a Ford product?

The Jeep 4 door Wrangler is a very crude vehicle to say the least, especially the Rubicon. Many buy the things because their cute and hip but trade out fairly quick. However if you really want to go off road and get serious about it or live in a snowy winter area they are hard to beat. I've got 50k miles on my Rubicon and have had only a few 02 sensors fail so it is fairly well built. If Ford does build something for the true off road enthusiast, I hope it'll be to compete with the Wrangler and not the Toyota FJ.
