Joey just lapped the 4th place Corvette. Long way to go but at least, unlike Laguna Seca, the GT’s clearly have the speed to win here.

I’m still here.

4:55 AM. 9 hours and 45 minutes to go. Both Ford GT’s running together over a full lap ahead of the 3rd place Corvette. 4th place 2 laps behind. New Porsche mid engine 911 RSR is 3 laps behind. Ferrari is 8 laps behind. BMW no factor. Peggy appears to be a little tired. GT’s look and sound like two P-51 fighters flying by low in close formation every minute 45 seconds. Just beautiful.
