I just took delivery of my 2017 50th Anniversary Super Snake this week. 750 HP tune, truly awesome performance. It took about nine months to complete, but WOW how I love it!

I really wanted to do a Super Snake conversion on my 2007 GT500 too, but at that point, they were limiting convertibles to only 600 (or 625?) horsepower, so I just did my own “Super Snaking” to the tune of 750 rwhp. Fast, but not as cool as a real Super Snake.

Can’t wait to see yours all finished. Congratulations!

They said it was due to too much chassis torque on the Verts and didn't want to hurt the car. Now they are offering the higher HP on the convertibles, would be interesting to see if they would SS a 07-12 Vert with the 750 package now.

Love the SuperSnakes but when that boost drops and with those super low profile tires, they are a handful.

Well, you know, you won't be completely at peace until you go through the complete conversion. Call Matt at Shelby and talk to him and see what your options are. Would also probably increase the overall worth of your HP Shelby.

You gotta love it. I got my 50th Anniversary 2017 Super Snake delivered to me in Florida in February. My wife and I are planning to drive it 1200 miles to Ohio for the summer. We are really looking forward to that trip. I’m having the clear bra installed this Tuesday to keep her looking new.
