FWIW there are a couple photos of the supposed 2012 Viper on page #6 of the Oct 10 Autoweek mag.

'Looks very similiar (if not identical) to the one on Paul's link.

(Edit: EG: There's no reversed "scoop(s)" fwd of the rear wheels, nor a scoop down low fwd of the front wheels.)

VOI, Viper Owners organizational group showed the 2012 viper in SLC last weekend. No pictures were allowed. It will be in production. Comments were in the direction that if a car manufacturer stops production of their icon super car, the brand eventually dies. The Viper will be produced, and will most likely be an excellent machine!
