2005 Midnight Blue / White Stripe GT for Sale

Picked up the C8 on Tuesday morning at the Museum, and that whole experience was really fun. Private tour, car sitting on Corvette Blvd. inside the Museum on live feed so friends were watching. Standing ovation from everyone there as you pull out.
The car feels as fast as my 2009 ZR1 Vette, which was a monster, and fairly equal to our 05 GT. Great road ride back to Dallas. No need for magnetic suspension, as it is a very comfortable ride. Paint job is incredible. So impressed that Chevy can put out a product like this for my $76k list car. Car play, bluetooth, etc all worked easily. Heads up display clearer than my Aviator or Q7 were.
Been chilly since pickup, so need to get some heat into the tires before total liftoff.
The best thing was getting to tell our wives this car is FREE, paid for by our '05 GT sale profits.
If you want a supercar that you don't have to worry about the giant depreciation ding normal exotics experience, as well as the getting hit worry we had in the GT, with the loss of value. I highly recommend the C8. We are also on the Z06 list for hopefully next year.

I agree. I only have a 2 car garage, and my car partner a 2 car with 1 stacker. We only have room for 1 fun car each. After 3 years of little use, afraid of the crazy drivers around Dallas, the thought of adding another $2400 a year for storage on top of insurance helped with our decision.
We had the GT for 13 great years, and thought it would be our forever car.
