I have a 2.75" pulley and a larger, VERY NICE double roller bearing idler pulley to take up the slack of the smaller supercharger pulley. I wouldn't do the supercharger pulley without doing an idler or shorter belt to take out the slack.
Interested? PM me.

Wayne, you know the self adjusting, spring loaded tensioner will take out the slack right?

It takes out the slack, but the overall tension decreased just enough to slip slightly on the top end. I have seen it on a few dynos as well. I know Kenne Belle has a power steering spacer to take the tensioner back closer to max (similar to stock), but that sounds like much more work than just swapping out the idler if you have the supercharger off for a pulley change anyway. Originally my car had a jagged top end and the power flattened out. Went to a larger idler and power climbed and smoothed out considerably. Happened from about 5800rpms on.

Where did you get the larger idler? I figure that I need the pully for the Silver State Classic in May in order to make up the 15-20% HP loss experienced at 6000 feet.:wink
