I had a good 14. I knew my hometown back to front, and my bike took me everywhere I needed to go. At least that’s how I remember it now. Maybe my 14 was trash. Certainly I wasn’t sliding someone else’s Ford GT around a snow-covered race track.

Our then 13 year old drove ours on track (at a conservative pace). I think I was more excited than him. Was AWESOME to experience.

...and here I thought I was pretty 'big stuff' driving my dad's '47 Chevy panel truck to and from our neighborhood 'country store' (to get mom a few items) when I was twelve.

(Dad never did find out about that...'far as I know. ;-) )

I was 14 watching Lemans and as the GT s won 1 2 3 dreaming about owning one, but new I never could as they were racing cars. THEN Ford came out with one in 2005! The dream of that 14 year old came true!

Wow. I thought I was a bit ahead of the ball, recently teaching my son to drive a 2003 manual 996 before he started driver's ed.
