Well there is a lot more to the week than BJ, there is also Russo Steele, bonhams, RM, and Gooding.

BJ and Russo are the biggest, they go all week.

Smaller, but with crazy quality, are the other 3. Bonhams is Thursday. RM is Thursday and Friday, and Gooding is Friday Saturday. All I think have preview days the day before their auctions. These auctions are where the really really really good stuff goes. Don't miss these.

Gene, January 18th, the day before Chip's Barrett-Jackson dinner you may be interested in this event. It is the inaugural AZ Jet Center Event and our white GT has been invited to be shown. This event it is modeled after Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival, a combination auto-moto-aero event held at Monterey Airport's Jet Center during Monterey Car Week. Here is some more info. Last year the 24 Hours of Daytona conflicted with our Annual Barrett Jackson GT owners gathering but this year we are doing it again. This will be our 11th gathering of the faithful. Because our heavy hitting members will be bidding on the expensive iron Friday and Saturday nights we always get together on Thursday night, January 19 at 7:00 PM for cocktails, sparkling conversation, and dinner at Don & Charlie's in Scottsdale.

Secure supervised parking is provided for members bringing their GT's. So get to Scottsdale on Thursday night in time to join us. Be there or be square. As always to keep things simple, the tab & tips will be divided by the # of attendees and everyone will pay the same amount in CASH (no credit cards) so show up with a pocket full of $20's. A reminder to attendees.

Gentlemen,

As always we will pay the tab tonight in CASH, -NO CREDIT CARDS-. So hit an ATM on the way and show up with a pocket full of $20's. Our function will start at 7pm for cocktails and dinner will be at about 7:20. The total for all food and drink will have gratuities added and the total will be divided by the # of attendees. Everybody will pay the same amount in cash. Individual cocktails, beer, & wine can be ordered but no bottles of wine or champagne can be put on the tab.

This system has worked well for over a decade and it keeps everything simple. Thanks and I'll see you tonight!!

World Champion

Gentlemen,

One of our distinguished members, Nate Schierholtz (FGT899 - seated in the photo below) and his beautiful wife Kate bought my black 1965 289 Mustang a couple years ago. Nate has an '06 GT and has also earned two World Series rings playing for the San Francisco Giants AND an Olympic Bronze Medal playing for Team USA. He was kind enough to honor my request to bring them to dinner tonight and I couldn't resist wearing them for a while. I felt like Mark Spitz but I kept my shirt on!! I think everybody had a great time this evening, I know I did. Cheers.
