Mine has arrived! Overall, I'd say I'm impressed.
The Good:
The paint is very nice and looks like a great representation of Liquid Blue. The carbon fiber portions display nicely. The model is on a black lacquered base, and the whole thing is quite heavy. Much moreso than, say, a comparable AutoArt - although I suspect the majority of the weight is in the base. There are lots of nice details here, such as the head and tail lights, the mirrors and the interior looks very nice, too, even if it'd difficult to see. Scale and proportions seem spot on, the packaging was adequate, although the box is quite big for a 1/18 model. The mirrors are attached
The Bad:
A few small areas could be finished more nicely (you can see small bits of glue around where the mirrors attach and in some other areas. There are no opening parts, not even the wheels turn or steer, so if you hope to see inside, you're out of luck. Some of the details, such as the grilles in the front air extractors, in front of the intercoolers and inside the tail lights are maybe not quite to scale, as far as the size of the pattern. Also, thy are just solid plastic, not actual flow-through grilles. Also, the rear wing doesn't sit quite flush with the rest of the bodywork.
Overall:
A great first Ford GT model. Definitely a good buy at $135 considering what AutoArt/Kyosho/etc. are charging $250+ for these days.
Some photos are flash on to capture the details, some are off for a more natural look.
