05 Heritage Paint Question/Concern

I just purchased a 5 mile 05 Heritage. The car is immaculate but after getting it into my building and good lighting the Heritage Blue color on various panels is disturbingly different. I am just wondering if anyone else has seen this issue before. I have another that has 8 miles on it and all panels color match perfectly. It is #285 if the production matters. Thank you in advance for your time and sorry for the difference in colors from pic to pic I used my phone.

Heritage "Gulf Blue" was a '06 color not '05.

In any case your discoloration - it is a yellowish cast, right? - looks like what happens when the "clear bra" plastic paint protector gets old... Is your car covered?

Ditto what twobjshelbys said. Check to see if it's PPI film yellowing.

I have seen this on another Heritage that I was interested in buying a couple years ago.i had just assumed at the time it had been repaired either at the Saleen factory or the dealer because it was the only spot on the car with a color mismatch. You can see the yellowing of the panel on the clamshell just right of the orange stripe similar to yours. This Heritage had no clear bra and under 100 miles for reference.

Carefully check. I don’t think we produced any Heritage vehicles with a 2005 VIN.

There was one GT that was repainted several times, including heritage colors, that Ford used for show purposes.
