That's what I should have started is a "How much" poll. Thanks for doing it!

The last few FGT's at auction have sold for slightly under the assumed current market pricing even counting fees.

They won't even get 100k for that one, because it's listed as having a top speed of only 180. Must have the "slow motor" option. Hell, even a GT40 beats that! ROTFLMFAO

Was watching MECUM the other day...couple of Porche's sold for millions, one for 6.5 I believe...

That's over 200k...right where market is. One sold on e-bay a few weeks ago for 204k or so...

Awesome! They also commented that the GT was poised for appreciation over the next 5-10 years!

Wow, that's strong. Seemed like in the old days GT's used to move cheaper at the auction houses. Mind continues to be boggled at what has happened with this car.

...and from the looks of things, what will continue to happen...

Yes, at this point, I don't think the trajectory will likely change. Too many cars junked and too much time lapsed between a successor car.

Does anyone have a general idea of how many are still out there? Not junked, I mean.

You can count on probably at least 500 being balled up for good, and a good deal of the rest have been shipped around the world.
