05/6 Production Numbers

I'm very sorry to beat an apparently dead horse but I've read a lot of posts here and can't seem to find production numbers that aren't subsequently challenged in followup posts. I've seen posts by centerpunch, cobrajeff and at least 1 other I think, from as far back as '06 and as late as around '15, but can't tell which list is the consensus. If there is no known definitive/accurate source, I understand, but I'd like to see the latest list.

That's where I got the data to do my how-many-in-each-color charts in this thread:

I clearly had too much time on my hands yesterday. Using the data from the book Ford GT, the complete owner's experience (if you don't have it, order it today- link below), I put the colors in Excel and broke them down a few different ways...

But obviously, the charts posted by DBK have additional information on how many cars were equipped with each option.

And...... I'm pretty sure the official total is 4038, not 4033.

Not sure about those five cars. Assuming they exist!

I would say yes as it had a VIN plate on the dash.

So, 4 038 or 4 033 ? I searched too but it's not clear.
Maybe the production number of cars sold is 4 033 and the others five cars are the prototypes, but not sur...

Sorry I recieved a PM been tied up.
The number still stands at 4033 as Dave had posted along with the book.
My numbers were proved up by Jamal and Ford and legal.
Where 4038 comes from? I dont know.
