I found an inexpensive and 100% non-intrusive phone and/or cup holder solution to share. Uses one of the factory screws above the existing pocket and is a 5 minute install including drilling a small access hole in the back of the cup holder for the screw.
I used a bottle of water but I'll primarily be using it as a phone and gate clicker holder.
