Same here Ed. I did not mention it but it took my tech at Galpin three to get one he wanted.

It was a few years ago but my local Ford dealer charged $1,000 for the windshield and another $1,100 for labor. Fenders have to come off per factory manual. I have heard some have replaced without fender removal, but not my choice.

No the finish is OEM. I just removed the clunky center cover and utilized center caps from an optional wheel offered for FORD trucks.

I replaced OEM battery at 8 years. Never on a tender and never a gauge issue. At that time I preemptively removed the OEM gauge cluster and replaced with Speedhut system. OEM gauges are tucked away nice and cozy. One of the lucky ones, I guess.

I had some warranty work done years ago (clamshell vents) at Galpin and a windshield replacement done there as well. They were terrific. I had my driver's airbag replaced at Santa Monica Ford and they also did a fine job. That's where I plan to get the passenger one changed out. Kevin

I honestly think staff manning the parts desk at some dealerships just don’t know what’s going on with GTs. No clue at all. Plus, many have a crappy attitude and don’t want to bother spending time trying to figure it out. So if last they knew about the situation was not parts available...
