Are you getting this info from oasis? If so you can see warranty start date as well as date "delivered". It is possible the car was sold say to the owner of the dealership and just never driven or titled. Then resold with the 10 miles on it and the in service date would not start until the...

This is very common on all Ford cars, but the GT does have a lot of updates as for as wiring and things like splice and connector locations and pin numbers. I know i have found a few wrong pin numbers and wire colors in the EVTMs. PTS does get the updated info out first.

We have still been selling the GT500 alittle over sticker, but not like when the first ones just got in. I think the first few went about 20,00 over. I have seen them on ebay right at sticker price. by the way BONY we sold our first FGT for over $300,000

If you go to a dealer for the fluid and they have never heard of the XL-4, and some may not have, then the ford part number is ESE-M99C115-A. They should be able to look it up by that number.

Bolts 8 and 7 are snout end and 6 and 5 are throttle body end.

Super charger should be torqued down in 2 stages. starting from the center and working your way out. The first time around torque to 18 in/lb. The second time around to 18 ft/lb. The sequence is like this for the 8 bolts. 8______7...

Careful on reinstall. That's were most people break'em. Make sure to install the inside edge of the glass first then slide the outside edge in second.

Don't forget to torque your supercharger back down after you reinstall it. Don't just bolt it down.

As a Ford tech myself i agree. I wish more tech. would just say i don't know how to work on this then damage these cars. It give the rest of us a bad name.

Sorry to hear about that. You have to be so careful with the consoles especially around the radio. They scratch very easily. There are special radio tools needed for the mac. radio to remove it witch hopefully the tech. had and didn't try to use something else to remove it. Even with using he...
