    Need Help

If your cooling fans are not working and the car is getting to hot or overheating the compresor will shut off. The high side presure switch will turn off the compresor. Fix the cooling fan problem first and see if the compresor comes on.

    Steering Wheel Center Pitting

when I have had cars with this I have to get the complete air bag. It happens with alot of Fords not just the GT. Superduty does it with the Ford oval and some others. Ford has never made just the bag emblems available seperate. I don't think they want people using any glues or adhesives on the...

    Smart Bolts

Very cool. There are endless uses for somthing this. Aircraft ofcourse, automotive, construction, heavy equipment. Things like bridge suport bolts that have been found to fail after years of strees and go unchecked. I would like them on cyl. head bolts on the race car. I'm sure it won't be long...

    Freon Leak

Thoses are the high and low side freon service ports. The small amount of oil around the low side fitting that you see is most likley from some either just puttung gauges on or from recovereing and filling the sys. when you remove the hose conection from the port a small mount of freon and oil...

Is There Anyone Out There with an Unmodified FGT?

I work on a lot of unmodified cars still, but it seems like those "unmoded" car owners are starting to talk about what they have planed for there cars and saying things like, well maybe just exhaust for now :biggrin.I think some just hold out longer then other, but it seems to get most in the...

    Event Data Recorder

That's correct. When a problem occurs and a code is stored in the pcm ,whether it sets a ck engine light or not, a snap shot is recorded of what sensor inputs to the pcm were at the time of the problem along with engine rpm, mph, time engine was running, long and short fuel trims, engine load...

You've got to be kidding me.

I also have been told that the fenders do not need to come off. To be honest If they did need to It is not that difficult of a process. I do have a quality glass guy that does all my work for me and I trust. let me know If I can help.

Cringe worthy Carrera GT flat-bed loading

+++1. That is heartbreaking, but come on. Why would you let someone use some cheap wood planks with blocks staked in front of them. Obviously an inexperienced flat bed driver that never loaded a car like that before. :thumbsdow

    Starting Problem

It sounded like a pats problem. Glad you got it worked out. Usually it's the transceiver that goes bad. Haven't had a bad module yet.

    Speedo

I have seen a few cars that do the 5-0 mph quick drop. I have even see it happen with a brand new speedo I just instaled and the old one didn't do it. The ones I have seen it on the customers haven't complained about it I just happen to see it.

    Drivers side Cat went bad...

GREAT! Glad it is getting worked out for you. It's rare but it does happen. Sounds like you have a good thorough tech. You will love the Heffner exhaust.

    Drivers side Cat went bad...

Just by watching the voltages on the O2s and cat monitor pids and some freeze frame data should be enough for your tech to diag your problem. If you are confident in the tech working on the car and he is sure that you have a cat problem it is possible, but still unlikely. The only other thing I...
