    Accufab and bumper delete.

The Accufab will work with the GT GUYS kit, just cut the tips back. It will not work with the CDC kit with the finished lower panel. The exit angle/bend is all wrong. I sat down with John to have him do a RBD system that works with the CDC kit, but it is not in the cards right now. It is a...

    Gulf Licensed Jacket from Europe

We were ordering some vintage Martini wear and the vendor knew I had a GT. He sent me this pic. I can order these if anyone wants one. It's the same style worn by the Crew Chief in the movie Lemans. I have not shopped these, the Martini stuff is a good deal for us. They can be had for $125.00 +...

Best caliper color for White w/ Blue GT?

I saw those calipers on a Newer Porsche the other day. They are pretty big with a curve to them , really fills the area looks wise. a very nice piece indeed. :cheers Try some Westleys Bleech White on a tire from your daily driver and you will see what I mean by pulling out the old dressing...

    Pics of our COBRAS please

Carroll borrowed mine, guess I will have to pick it up at the Rally:wink. he always looks so happy when around fine machinery. I actually got to go for some hot laps with him a few years ago in a continuation car. The thrill of a lifetime ,150mph on the Vegas oval and he was grinning from ear to...

Best caliper color for White w/ Blue GT?

It took 41 years to match quote #2 from a famous Trans Am Racer. "You know your car is fast enough when you can spin the white letters right off the car. " Juan Cooldude 2008 "You know you have enough power when you can make two black lines from the apex of one turn to the apex...

Best caliper color for White w/ Blue GT?

I wish I had a shot of the full car but these look pretty nice. Otherwise I would just stay Grey. I think the red look pretty sporty though. The grey does not look as dusty after a drive IMO. If you are using the stock wheels, let us know if they have proper clearance.

    Shorty Headers

A very promising project, I think those of us in the US of Calif will be keeping a close watch on this project. Pipes for the track and cats for the street, what's not to like. Shorty's don't normally make as much power, but those are not like your typical 4.6 shortys for a Mustang at all...

    Track upgrades

Mist systems. The EVO has this for the Intercoolers OEM, and it does work for a short blast. I have run a similar system for another turbo car. Those cars develop a milky white film on the IC over time. But, since the air goes in the engine bay it has no chance of hitting the windsheild. Our...

    Track upgrades

Yup, 100% that is what they say. That is because we can buy NAPA rotors for $25 each front and rear. It's more cost effective to use them than to cryo. When the rotors are more expensive, the game changes. I have been down both roads. But I do not like the extra labor of swapping the rotors...

    help me choose guys

$52k for my 04 Z06 - Market value $28k with 5,500 miles. Calc cost per mile to see depreciation. Lost $24k $74,500 for my buddies 07 Z06. Market value $58k with 2,100 miles. Lost $16.5k. Starting to see them under $50k now for 06's. Vipers do OK IMO if you have the right color, about have...

    Track upgrades

A little surprised you had warped rotors. I have not heard that one before. The brake fluid , yes. Good choice. The cool down lap is critical for the rotors. Use very light braking if at all. You may know this, but no parking brake use after coming in till the rotors are cool. What track...

Has anyone tried the Ford Racing Pulley Kit?

Maybe I missed it, but I have not seen any dyno comparisons on the Ford Kit. It would be interesting to see how the AFR looks on the dyno and pulley size comparisons. Other questions would be fan settings ont he ford tune and if they can be programed if not part of the tune itself. It will...

    Still Running Hot

:cheers, But I do not doubt MAD has seen something that does not look right. He may very well be on to something. I could see some wavy lines after a couple cold ones, but a 90 deg change? I think K&N did this set out of passion for the cars IMO. They simply will not ever sell enough to make...

    Still Running Hot

IMO it is very doubtful that filtration has anything to do with track temps. I was thinking that comment was a side bar, as a potential performance flaw was noticed. I have not yet inspected the K&N for the GT. Maybe MAD could elaborate on his findings. I think he is saying the pleats run the...

    Interested in a Ford GT

"Ok, I see a little bit of bias on this site (ya think). Stock the Ford GT is all that. When you talk mod's, well the Viper hold the record for IRS in the standing mile, and I have seen some TT Vipers in the 7's in the quater. As for street appeal, well that is really in the eye of the beholder...

    Interested in a Ford GT

If it were me and I could not afford to add a car. I would sell the two you have and buy a GT. You have two that will depreicate much more, while the low mileage GTs will rise slightly. You will also free up garage space and reduce insurance. Those savings are good arguments with the wife...
