Just off the phone with spec clutch company. Quoted 1500 for a replacement clutch after the initial spec clutch wears out . They said they need about 2 days lead time to supply a new or rebuilt

My understanding is that the Stillen is an OEM clutch with different friction padding. Is that not true? Would that mean we could simply put in an OEM clutch disc in the future?

I've done 171.'s several times. 3.4I. I make about the same power as you, & I was definitely not holding back. I've done maybe 15 - 20 official 1/2 mile runs and never done better than 171 Plus regardless

You'll never hit 180 without a monster tailwind unless you add power. 10mph is huge

My average was about 170 at the .5, 199 @ the 1.0, and 214 at the 1.6. I think my best (last year btw) was 209.6 @ the 1.0 and 224.2 @ the 1.6. maybe 20F cooler. Plus no headwind last year.

i don't think you'll see more than 170ish at that event with that power. Those tires should be fine, especially well below their maximum speed rating. keep us updated on your results
