I've had that seal on order from the dealer for 2 years - still waiting for it. If someone has the seal, I sure would love to get one!

Well good news ! I recharged the battery, cleaned the terminals (they looked clean to start with), reassembled the + & - post terminals, restarted the car and all the gauges work fine now. I am so thankful for the suggestions from you guys - terrific to have such great help! Thanks again...

Started up the GT after 3 weeks sitting and the oil pressure and tach are dead. Any thoughts on cause? :confused

I have also noticed the pricing of the non-salvage cars seem to be continuing to creep upwards. It seems very low mile cars even more so. Not sure what transaction prices are ultimately at but it seems that as mileage accumulates...the values drop remarkably fast. Sort of discourages one to...

That's Mose Nowland sitting behind the car. he was with #1032 at the '66 LeMans race adjusting the valves and general engine man. Mose built the 427 in our restoration project from the ground up. He is an amazing guy. 56 years at Ford and still going strong!

This was a 100% volunteer restoration project by a bunch of us at Ford and some retirees and a few others. It was a 4.5 year project and an incredible since we took every single part, rivit, screw, washer apart on this car (it had not run since 1967 - just sitting in the INDY Museum...

It would be really hard to sell it but there are 13 times a year that the thought cross's my mind. #1 is this week when my Lic tab renewal came in @ $600....the next 12 times is when I write out the house payment each month. I sit there and say to myself..."gosh if I sold the GT I could pay...

I had re-charge troubles with the original Optima and also gauge issues. Replaced it with an Autolite , Lead-Acid. No troubles since (2 years worth anyways)

I planned to drive the GT out saturday morning and stop at Kip's place but will also try for tomorrow nite Rich. Will look for you.... BTW, I finally got Camillo's signature. I was invited to display the GT at the SuperCar exhibit at this years Meadowbook Concour and he stopped by.
