Painted rims vs. Powder Coated Rims??

Now this REALLY makes it difficult! They both look good! Correct me if I am wrong, but does the painted rim have more of a satin finish, and the powder coat a gloss finish, or is it the angle of the photo? Thank you very much for posting!!

Painted rims vs. Powder Coated Rims??

Thanks for the feedback. All this advice is very helpful! So far it appears that electro-coating & epoxy based paint may be the safest approach and will not damage the integrity of the rim.

Painted rims vs. Powder Coated Rims??

I’m contemplating have my rims either painted or powder coated. I'm considering satin black finish. I would like to get some feed back before I commit to either option. Pro’s, cons, advice?? Also can anyone recommend a shop close to the Covina area? Thanks in advance for your reply!

How do you hold title on your FGT or other cars?

How do you hold title on your FGT or other cars? I was thinking of placing my FGT, other cars and trailers in a person property trust. I have plenty of insurance, but like the idea of anonymity. Any thoughts?

Approximately 3 weeks ago I meet Johnny Bohmer, and had to listen to him flap his jaw about how he IS the next best thing since sliced bread. Cobra Jet Block

I have a 1968 Cobra Jet Block. The date is 8L18 which I believe is Nov. 18 1968. I bougt this many years ago as a back up block for my KR. The car is gone and I have no need for it. This would work well for someone needing a block for their KR! If I recall the block is standard bore. I did have...
