Does anyone know what the DBA is for a std GT @ 6500rpm, the reason I ask is that we have a race track noise restiction of 95 DBA, unless the car has a has a factory rating of above 95DBA I have to make the exhaust system keep below 95 DBA,I have already blown up 7 different exhaust systems...

Curiosity has got the better of me, how does the piezo find an air gap when the sensor is mounted in a position where the top of the tank above the sensor is the lowest point of the tank, ie the middle of the tank where the sensor and pumps are mounted is the lowest point of the tank, see photo...

Thanks nota4re I have no problem with whipple as a product,this is not a warranty issue as we only race ours and I don't expect any warranty . ours has only failed as it always runs at 200 plus degrees oil temp in the snout. I was just suprised that they did not even say yes or no to being able...

No we have enough grunt now (764 rwhp 663rwtq) and we only race long distance races ie 4 hr 6 hr & 12hr races and more power means more heat and heat is an enduro racers worst enemy

Please note this GT has NO rubber bushes in the suspesion it is all rod ends and spherical balls so it exaggerates everything. :cheers Neil

MR2 this is a pic of the GT before we changed the top arms on the rear Note how much Toe in is on the rear the GT is set up with toe out in the rear. IT is under hard acceleration at 100mph in this photo, it was like driving an old formula 5000 lola

Yes I have shortened the shocks buy 1 inch as we had to much travel for racing The ball joint is now a spherical joint mounted in a new chromemoly top A-arm as we had 2 inches wheel deflection from the top arms under acceleration to braking and this movement would coil bind the springs 600lbs...

Just did a cylinder leakage test and found all cylinders between 5 & 8% leakage and used 1.5 litres oil :thumbsup Neil
