    Heffner Twin Turbo GT Picture.

Very nice. Is this kit something that you only install in house or do you sell the kit for other shops to install? I'd love to talk one of my customers into this kit. Ken

    Heffner Twin Turbo GT Picture.

Another question, how are you tuning it? I see that the blow off valves are after the MAF which won't work with the stock computer, are you using a standalone on this one? Ken

    Heffner Twin Turbo GT Picture.

Very nice looking. I would like to see the intake design. Are you maintaining the stock intercooler with that setup? If so, is that intake basically a box type upper, no runners?

    Inlet Tube "Collapsing"?

Yes it is a problem. Accufab's solution is to put an insert in the tube. This will keep the tube from collapsing. But I think the real problem needs to be addressed. If the tube is collapsing, that means the airbox is now a restriction causing a vaccum in the inlet tube. So the proper fix is to...

Sound/video clip of Stainless Works header at idle and reving

Yes, we are the vendor from Cincy. We have already done the before dyno numbers which were for our stage I kit (pulley and tune). When it comes back from Stainless Works, we will first do some pulls without any changes to the tune to see the raw gains. Then will do additional tuning to see what...

    New Exhaust System

I got a PM from someone who things I may have ulterior motives with this post. Let me state, I'm 100% interested getting correct information out there, nothing else. That's the beauty of datalogging, it's data and you can't really argue with it. When doing these types of tests, I invite anyone...

Sound/video clip of Stainless Works headers at idle and reving I have a few more pictures that I will post later. Here is the video http://www.modulardepot.com/gtmovie.mov This is with cats and no mufflers I believe. Details to follow. Here is the original thread...

    New Exhaust System

MD is available as always to do independent testing on any products if need be. Obviously someone would have to provide the car and ehxaust. I can do all the dyno work and datalogging. Ken

    Dyno work

Don't cringe, but using the front wheels is the best for the front points. FOr the rear, an axle strap through the a arm works great. But, the tie down in the rear will have to be straight back from that point or else it will get into the tire. Ken

    Which gear for dyno

Time is absolutely important. Especially if you are tuning it. Too quick of a dyno pull doesn't give you proper data for stablized open loop fuel information, fuel pump duty cycle and many other critical data points. Considering that many of the GT owners out there are interested in doing a high...

    Which gear for dyno

4th would be best. 3rd would make for a pretty short dyno pull. Ken

I just re flashed with SCI tuner and I felt the difference!

If all the cars were the same (stock) they should be fairly close on the tune. The question is, are you willing to pay the extra few hundred buck for me to get it on a dyno and verify that the tune is perfect or are you willing take a chance? It's really a matter of having the peace of mind that...

I just re flashed with SCI tuner and I felt the difference!

We are in Cincinnati, OH which is quite a haul for you. Maybe you can round up 5 guys for me to tune and I can fly in to take care of you. Ken

Sneak Peek - Stainless Works headers/exhaust kit

They tried a 1 piece header and they couldn't get it off the car once completed. I don't see a problem with the slip fit. We use them quite a bit on all the cars we work on and they never leak. They slip on and then there is a tab welded on the collector and one of the primaries. Then a bolt...

I just re flashed with SCI tuner and I felt the difference!

I would NEVER use a canned tuned on a $150k car. Take it to someone who really knows what they are doing and have it tuned correctly on the dyno. It will be money well spent and it's not really that expensive. To get your car tuned through us, you are only looking at $600-$725 AND you get an...

Sneak Peek - Stainless Works headers/exhaust kit

Which if you compare it to this pricing, it's right inline. Add $600-$800 for the merge collectors! Ken

Sneak Peek - Stainless Works headers/exhaust kit

So, no cats and no muffler? We can call that the xtreme kit. :thumbsup I'm sure that would be possible. The headers are the only thing completed. I'll post pics as more of the project is done. Ken

Sneak Peek - Stainless Works headers/exhaust kit

On this type of application, the benefits of a tuned length header would be minimal and due to the space limitations, about impossible.
