i keep getting a lean code

The car is either actually running lean or you have a leak upstream of the 02 sensor. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I don't recommend modifying these car with an performance bolt ons without verifying everything is correct on a dyno with a full datalogging workup. There's just too...

    SCT Flash Reprogrammer

Who wound up tuning it? You have to ask yourself the question, why do they 'need info back from SCT'? That would scare me. The tuner should have no issues tuning your car. Sounds like they ran into something they didn't know how to handle. What size pulley is the roush kit? Those number sound on...

    SCT Flash Reprogrammer

Did they tune it on the dyno or did they just give him a canned tune?

    SCT Flash Reprogrammer

The best advice I can give is to bring your car to a competent tuner that can tune your car correctly on a dyno while doing all the proper data logging. You're not dealing with a $20,000 car here and it would be a shame to not take full advantage of the technology out there. I would recommend a...

Back from MD Motorsports..@ 3:30am...with another 100hp/100tq at the wheels..

We're glad you are happy with MD! We are located in Cincinnati, OH for the person that asked. As far as the modifications done to his car, I'll let him share that if he chooses. But we can do just about anything you need. We are mostly doing pulley/tune combos right now. I'd like to try to...

Anyone who is local to Cincinnati, OH

We will be doing the final tuning on the Stainless Works exhaust car this Saturday. I figured I would invite anyone who is close by to come and check out the exhaust in person for an unbiased opinion. I will be posting videos but sometimes you just can't capture what a car really sounds like on...

    Picture of our 2.8" pulley

Yes, the holes are there to help they pulley grip better. I suppose some people would want a more stealthy pulley, but I think no matter what aftermarket pulley you put on there, a dealer that would care, would also notice. This pulley is for the stock snout. FYI, I think you are confusing me...

All I have is this video clip http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1161&highlight=stainless idle and some revs. Once the car gets back here, I'll post a video of it on the dyno and also possibly some street videos. Ken

    Pulley mod suppliers?

That's why I recommend and only carry the 2.8" pulley. The stock belt is fine with the 2.8".

    Modifications Done

Chris, I'm glad you're not taking my comments the wrong way. I'm only interested in discussing these things because it's what I live and breath. It just so happens that I own a business in this field also. It looks like from 60mph to about 130, it's hovering around 13:1. I think these cars...

    Modifications Done

It's hard for me to comment on these things since I'm a business and don't wan't to come off wrong, but your car is way too lean. It looks to be 13:1 for a large part of the pull. Even 12.5:1 is too lean.

    Pulley mod suppliers?

Yes, we log all of that, but it's not really an issue. That's the beauty of a MAF system.

The lack of a Knock Sensor in a GT

It's the computer that is the real issue. Ford never got a good knock sensor setup until the 2005 Mustang which uses the new Spanish Oak processor. For what it's worth, the 2003/2004 Cobra (factory supercharged if you didn't know) did not have knock sensors either. I've probably tuned 200+...
