What's the furthest you've driven your FGT?

How did you feel at the end? If you stayed overnight somewhere did you do anything to disable your vehicle while you slept?

Where do you prefer to look when searching for a FGT?

And yes, it's no secret I am a dealer. :) Would be fun just to visit, so many nice machines. Two dealers, Elite and Marv's, American Super Cars will definitely be on my first to call list, when I give up on finding a pp.

Where do you prefer to look when searching for a FGT?

Good info, thanks guys. I will be looking for black with stripes and less than 10K, not a garage queen. I intend to drive the car. I realize this will take time, and I am okay with that, what's the rush anyway.

Where do you prefer to look when searching for a FGT?

Sorry guys, but this is the first forum where I cannot pm. (what gives?) Sorry, I hope I am not offending anyone, but Heritage vehicles are a little too rich for my blood.

Would like to know what colour is it?

Where do you prefer to look when searching for a FGT?

I am thinking that a pp over a dealer will give more room for negotiations. Might also take longer to find a pp car than one at a dealer.

Does anyone know about a 2006 GT in Florida for $175,000

So what's the opinion? Was it worth repairing?

If I buy from a repitable dealer such as Merv Rose, would I need PPI?

That was my car since HS grad., it was a demo. and I had it until '08. It had a little over 1M miles when I sold it. AC still worked and the clock kept great time. Totally stock with some Mopar upgrades. It originally got 12 mpg, and when I sold it, it was getting 21 mpg. White with tan...

If I buy from a repitable dealer such as Merv Rose, would I need PPI?

Thanks everyone. I agree when we are talking about a big buck item we need to do everything to make sure we are buying a correct vehicle, after all this is the second largest purchase besides our home.

Sorry I am not able to respond to pms, must be some sort of restriction. I am in the research phase and will use funds from the sale of my present vehicle once I see what happens to the value when the book comes out on my car.

If I buy from a repitable dealer such as Merv Rose, would I need PPI?

That's what i figure. If the person selling the vehicle has a good reputation, why waist the money on a PPI. I would be insulted if I was selling a vehicle because I have built a good reputation over many years and why would I risk ruining that?

    Mecum: Kansas City Ford GT

Are the cars without the stripe more desirable and why?

    Mecum: Kansas City Ford GT

I figured some miles, but not big miles, probably less than 12K. I plan on driving her, but mainly as a Sunday driver. I wonder if the new car will affect prices? Also considering a Z8, a 458 and a F430, just so hard to make a decision.

    Mecum: Kansas City Ford GT

So there's hope for me yet. I thought I would never be able to afford a Ford GT, but the Mecum price gives me hope. With $250K in the pocket I may just be able to afford one, hopefully not too much higher than that.
