I have found that the GT's clearance is fairly good compared to other sports cars (my driveway can be challenging). If you could make it with your stock Viper, the GT should be similar.

My advice is to give it some time and mileage before adjusting anything.

I had to realign my rear shell. It did not have the proper clearances around the edges. It works well now and the re-alignment was easy.
