Wow, that is the first time I have seen the new layout that Apollo ran, that is amazing. It was not done last April, looks like a ton of fun.

I am looking at lifts to save some garage space. I have a 68 Shelby and the GT I need to stack. The trick is my garage floor is heated through cools in the floor. Not sure if there are any single or 4 post lifts that do not require you to drill in the cement. Curious to hear options or what...

I did the first one at about 1500 miles, I am at 9K miles, just wondering with the common small shavings you find at 1500 what the next mileage guys reccommend servicing the tranny again. Been 60 an Sunny here in Tahoe since Christmas and have had the car our in January.

I drove the GT 538 spirited miles last Monday to Tahoe up highway 395 in the eastern sierras. I rolled up on the back of the CHP near Lone Pine, we go 35mph through town side by side. 1 mile out of own he rolls up next to me as I'm going 55mph in the 55mph zone, he gives me a thumbs up and...

So when the service manager researched this we discovered Ford had 54 left side heads in a stock in the U.S. and 3 right side. Do you think they know there is an issue?:) only left side heads replaced. Ford warrantied all parts and labor, I hope this solves the issue.

So I got the Laguna Seca back from Ford today with new left side heads and all appears to be ok. Until I throw the track key on and do some spirited driving it won't be certain this was the cause of the burning oil. Ford covered all under warranty. I am hoping this is it:)

Apparently early in 2012 Boss production the machine used to tighten heads had a miss-calibration and over tightened the left said heads causing an issue with the valve guides causing blow by under some conditions. New heads have been ordered for the left side and hopefully the issue is solved...
