Are you are looking just to have the original with the car? if not, the best one I found is the stretchy Super Weave from Cal Car Cover, looks the best and very soft. I have them on every car

Looks like it- I had mine done but in a different way. When i first got my car in 05',I sent my entire seat to Recaro and had them redo the bottom portion so I sat about 1 1/2" lower . I believe they put a gel type material ( instead of foam) in the base , super comfy

front chin spoiler, chrome strips on door sill, so far

I searched best tire replacement and the varied lists are long. From what I can tell the best replacement tires for my FGT are Bridgestone RE050A 265/40R18 ( Fronts have to be Porsche N1 Style) Bridgestone RE050A Scuderia 345/35R19 IS THAT RIGHT?

I ordered some spares from Torrie :) got a front chin spoiler and some other little items to have in the future when they are all gone. ( I have this problem with my 01' Z8 - parts are impossible and when you do find them, $$$$)

Thanks and will do. Also your right on jumping in here more often :) of all the cars I have and have had, my FGT is by far my favorite. Mine was the first in Utah and used for a bunch of Larry Millers photo promo's for the inaugural Utah Fast Pass.. Then he bought like 6-7 of them :)

Kendall that is really nice of you to offer,, the car is actually in Wyoming at his home there. I'm going to bring my mechanic with me to go over the car, he is very good .. but not a GT 'expert - I think the feedback I received will be helpful when we go over it... Maybe I' m being a bit over...

That explains it pretty well and what I was worried about, since the car fax checked out on the increases over the years. All he had to do was unplug it at random times- thanks for the input

We'll look at that closely to see if any wires are unplugged or look having been messed with... as well as most all other visible parts that may have unusual wear...hopefully all is good :) You would think that Ford would have made it so that this is not even possible on a car of this caliber.

I pretty much have first dibs on this car until Monday, I was planning on bringing a good mechanic with me...but he is not an expert on GT's..If he knew what to look for, he'd find it.

I'm not that techy on electronics ( no speedo cable I am guessing) . is the PCM the black box under the seat? and what exactly could they disconnect, is there a seal they break. If its not recorded how would the dealer or mechanic tell?

I was called about a 2006 FGT that is coming up for sale . It has 9,000+ miles on the odometer but my gut feeling is either he did not ever detail this thing or the odometer was tampered with or disconnected at one time ? Is there a way to tell? Its appears great deal and the carfax history...
