Wow excellent post! Thanks. My chirp is only at idle as far as I can determine, is that something you have seen? It started 2500 miles after the whipple was put on.
Thank you guys, I will double check oil level and test the belt with water. Assuming it is only the belt I will probably order a new one and the pulley mentioned above. I appreciate the help!!

I believe the polished one was sold to someone in the middle east. I remember seeing photos of it on a pallet heading to it's new owner. Or it is possible I am getting old and senile!
Someone on the forum made replacement overlays that are an exact replica. I still have the one I bought in case it ever happened. Cannot remember who but will check my files.
Though I have not done it in the GT, for my other cars I have always plugged into the power outlet (used to be known as lighter socket) with a male plug and a 9 volt transister battery on the other end. Never lost radio stations or other presets.
I chose the 235 fronts so as not to go wider than stock and risk drift on uneven roads or change the steering character, any of you running 265 notice any negatives from stock size?
Thanks guys! Time is going by too fast. Spent last week at the old Sears point at the Jim Russell advanced open wheel F3 course in alot of rain. I can take spinning out at 100mph in the rain off my bucket list!
