    05/06 Power Steering Hose Deterioration

Do not use hose that is not rated for power steering fluid. NAPA carries bulk PS hose. I have purchased bulk PS hose at O'Reilly's as well. If a hose is not rated for the product, it generally will swell up and seep as the product deteriorates the rubber.

    New Spark Plugs

Aircraft engines have aluminum heads and have used spark plug anti-seize for eons. I always use nickle anti-seize on aluminum heads. I have seen plugs seize on aluminum heads - not fun. Make sure you do not get any past the threads. See instructions on link...

Who knows how to repair rock chip?

Lacquer is a common type of paint used for touch-up. The results will vary based on the application and technique. You now know what I know from the posts above. The absolute perfect way to repair any imperfection is to have a good painter refinish the panel with color matched two part paint...

Who knows how to repair rock chip?

It does take time to perfect. When you do, you will be very happy with the results. Paints dry/cure over long periods. You can apply the lacquer twice each day (12 hrs) until over filled. Then wait one day and sand and polish. It will look perfect when done, cannot see it. Then over time...

Who knows how to repair rock chip?

The lacquer does not need it. Also, you cannot make it flush to the good paint. You can sand down the lacquer color flush then polish, you will not see it. You can try to use the clear. Assuming your good paint is the original epoxy type two part paint, you can use lacquer thinner and remove...

New Owners: Insure Axle Bolt Upgrade has been Performed!

I would suggest the AccuFab kit. You can use your aircraft bolt wire tie skills with the accufab bolts. The accufab bolts all are drilled for wire. Here is what I did with pictures of the bolts. https://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/threads/ford-upgrade-kit-halfshaft-bolts-found-loose.36606/
