they should not be too bad.. you would need to drain till they quit leaking coolant.

you'll have to drain the coolant down.. If you don't want to make a huge mess pull the allen pipe plugs out of both sides of the block from underneath when its on the lift. They are behind the motor mounts. That will drain the coolant from the block so when you pull the water pump it wont leak...
