Odd problem description. One would think that if it was a battery or ground problem, it consistently wouldn't crank, but once started, it should keep running. I hate intermittent/inconsistent electrical problems. Follow the rule of going back to the last thing you did and recheck it was done...

I use a nut driver and get them "fist tight." They have a tendency to loosen up and fall out, therefore use some blue Locktite (not red!) too.

Daniel, the offset of the wheels is important too. If the 19 and 20 wheels have the same offset as the original 18 and 19 wheels, you should not need spacers.

Ed, and Daniel: If you follow the procedure in the manual, it will flush the fluid in the slave cylinder. It takes two people to perform the procedure.

Daniel: Change the clutch and brake fluid now and throughly flush the fluid until it is clear/amber. Do not change the clutch yet. It has many 10,000's more miles/kilometers to go. No need to do anything to the clutch until it actually starts slipping at full power. Unless you just want to...
