The DVD hit the shelves yesterday. There were three GTs in it. They didn't do any of the heavy lifting, but a Stage 6 car would have left them all in the dust. So so acting, but killer cars. Tim Matheson's character bought a new enzo because the windshield was cracked on his car and it couldn't be fixed in time for the next race. It played well in the home theater last night. A little blurry since I'm accustomed to HD or blu rays now.

Just watched the movie. Some nice shots of the GT, especially the interior shots. Some fantastic T&A.

Somebody was looking for a blue, stripe delete GT. I can see why now. It looks fantastic.

The lead honey with major league yaboo's is gorgeous, though she saw's on the wheel way too much. Great T&A!

The acting is extremely poor. Boring plot. The male hot shoes look like they came out of Miami Vice. Majority of the action scenes look like a video game.

Such a shame that they wasted a great opportunity to give you a great aural experience with each car's exhaust note, because they do have quite a few car scenes... Would have loved to heard more of the Enzo and Murciélago.

Lotsa T&A.

Let's see. Hot Cars + T&A = Winner

Glad I bought it:thumbsup

Did I mention the great T&A?

If you wandered over to Bell's Auto when we were at Stillen you could see the infamous Eddie Griffin wrecked Enzo...

We did and Ralph couldn't have been more kind and generous with his time as he toured us through his entire facility showing us all of the Ferrari's, Lambos, Maseratis, Jaguar XJ220, and others. Ralph's justifiably proud of his expansive shop, his craft and the vehicles he's entrusted with by their owners.

I was stunt diving this week on CSI NY... I'm all water logged today....
Just so you guys know, IMHO, I think the enzo crash by Eddie on a PR day was planned to promote some more hype for the film.... IMHO

Honestly? That was kind of my gut feeling too. That was a low speed demo. How do you get a car to understeer that bad in that situation? Seemed fishy to me. Then again, as Eddie said after the crash "Brotha can't drive". :lol

I heard the car was totalled. How much car do you have to destroy to run through 1 to 1.2 mil in repairs. I know it will be damaged goods, but in 10 years it may be 1 of 50 at the rate they are getting destroyed.

I wouldn't expect it to be totalled after a low speed front end collision either.

I have seen the movie now, and can attest:

Nat's Performance does some superb front end work.

I too went over to Bell's after the Stillen open house. Very nice folks there and some serious $$$ cars being worked on.

It may have been slow speed but it was a hard hit. Rear roof section/engine cover was about $90,000 according to what I was told.

Publicity wreck or not - it was expensive to repair. But then so is a Ford GT.

Best thing is they can be repaired.

BTW if some one took a photo of the Pit Cart in the back shop, please post it. My crew chief wants one!

Best part of the movie was the blue, no stripe GT that matched mine. Great shots of some great cars. The plot was juvenille, the acting sucked, but the cars were great.

Well Tim, tell us how you really feel. Remember, Bony the Moderator is gone!

Bad Acting
Weak Plot
Video Game feel
No Makers Mark ( for Bony )
Horrible unrealistic driving
T&A with Bolt on mods were not bad at all
Nice collection of the supercars of this Era

But the remark about the GT not being worthy was unforgivable, oh please, break out the big iron?...an SLR over a tweeked GT in a long high speed run, I think not. Even the CGT is stretching it a bit.

But the driver of the SLR was equiped with a generous helping of T&A.

They would have spent more on th actors & director and stuntman if they used a black GT. After finding out they could only get a blue no stripe they said it wouldn't be a block buster anyhow:lol

But I heard it had lots of T&A......maybe why Tim's wife said noway to him working on this one.
