Noticed a couple of different GTs on EBAY today with 9M+ miles, and prices in the sub $140M range. It will be interesting to see how these cars sell, especially if they are cars without stories; i.e. just high mileage, no damage, repaints, etc. There are two different Tungsten cars in Chicagoland with 6M+ miles and both cars with BIN pricing @ $170M-ish, but they are glued to their repsective showroom floors at those levels...

only sub $140k car I see on ebay is the TOTAL REPAINT 10k mile coconut RED GT. Also, one of those tungsten cars in Chicago is the one that had the STAMP OUT SMOKING stickers all over it and was used for promos. Who knows who all has driven it and how?

You have to look at the car. The 9000 mile on in Texas is from the guy that puts back together totaled GT's so that car at 140 is a salvage title
I think if you find a 9K+ car for less than about $150 your doing good but there aren't many out there.
Shelby did you track the vin on cars to know that tungsten was the smoke out car?

when you think about it a 9000 mile car that is now 3-4 years old is low miles for most makes and a huge depreciation between 6000 miles to 9000 miles is not very rational.
The question is the inflation over sticker rational for a car with miles over X miles. We as buyers set the price of the market. IMHO the GT is worth more than what we usually pay for them as they are the last of a line and with the new regulations coming into play likely will be just that ... one of the last.
We all want a deal but I do not see Gt's ever sitting on a car lot with a for sale sticker less than 120,000.00 unless there are huge issues with it. I think the cars will likely float in this 150-170 area. They will probably be like the land rover defender 90 ... they just don't depreciate no matter what miles are on them. Are there a few exceptions? Yes, but as a rule ... they just don't.
On the other side I also just don't see the GT hitting a million dollars either. Just too many of them ... and too few people actually drive them so that bloats the market at that level.

About three weeks ago I was passing through Lufkin, Tx where the guy there rebuilds GT's He had 4 of them there. One Hertiage,White/Blue striped car,Tungsten/White striped and the other one I don't remember the color. He also had a Ferrari that he was repairing as well. It appears he is selling the red car that is on Ebay now. I don't know where he gets them but he must be buying all of the wreck cars that come up for sale in the salvage car market. He claims that he as had 22 GTs to date. The owner was not there when I stopped by I talked to the mexican guy that works on them.
