What is the story behind this FGT? Prototype car?

I have seen it offered for sale a few times and always wondered what the history was ... anyone know more? Seller does not offer many details in the auction description.

PB#1 Unit 3 is a Pre-Production build. The car was assigned to the Program Team. It is the only PB in Gulf Blue. The VIN should be 1FAFP90S05Y400036. It had audio and wheel options.

I don't know any of its history. Now...if it was PB1-1, you'd have the "Nardo Car," and I expect the price would be somewhat higher.

There were 17 PB cars, that if I recall include this one, the Nardo cars, and stillens car, among others.

That's the VIN. Lost its BBS wheels somewhere.
