I will probably run 6-8 track days per year. My first time out I lost clutch pressure due to most likely boiling the stock fluid and getting an air pocket. I have read where people recommend using better fluid (easy fix going to 600) but also the transaxle cooler. Are there different types of coolers or are they all the same quality?

A Trans cooler is a must if you are going to track the car,, The clutch pedal to the floor is related to contaminated fluid inhibiting the clutch fluid check valve from working properly. We had seen this at a few rally's. We had the official diagnosis at Rally 6 from Alex ( SVT Team ) Who saw this before in the test cars..

Love this forum, thanks for the input. I'll be going with the Cooltech.
When I lost the clutch, Shelby18 (GTX1 owner) was running with me on the track. He called Dennis, Dennis walked me through it on the phone in the pits. Gary Pattetson (head of engineering at Shelby American) came by with new fluid and we bleed it enough to get it back up and on the track. Gary was on my tail on the track in a 2011 GT350 (216 made). Those are nice track cars, especially the "R" tuned. Put out 634 to the ground.
