Had to get it over to a friends house for a charity event on Tuesday night.

Roads are quite clean, it was low 40s and I took it REAL easy.

Nice to drive the GT in February!

Awesome!!! I took my GT apart today and I mean APART..... Its now a bare chassis, no interior, dash, motor/trans or body panels, Just the front cooling some wiring and suspension.... LOL

Nice going. By contrast it is snowing in central Virginia.

The way the winter is going in upstate NY, I wish that the GT still had collision on her. I still haven't used my snow blower and it's the 19th of February!!!!

I had the same thought and took #34 out for a winter spin. It was not as much of a challenge here in Arizona however. About 75 degrees and blue skies.

It's supposed to be about 50 again on Wednesday. I would take the car out but I still don't trust that we've had enough rain to wash away the tiny amount of salt they've spread this year. I saw the salt truck roll through one day we had flurries, and I swear they were just putting some out because they were so bored of sitting around doing nothing all winter.

I took mine out today too !!!!

It's been cold and snowy, but I decided today would be a good day to warm it up to get the fluids flowing. It warmed up nicely :) The temp was supposed to be in the 50's but I don't think it made it much past 40.

Fortunately I have 100% gauges. Now I have to pull the supercharger due to a snout bearing oil leak. Thus is the risk of buying a 1000 mile car out of warranty :)

Chip, where is that? Is it Roosevelt?

How is your new Accufab build and upgraded TT working?

Cold, wet, and raining in North Carolina, but 562 will be arriving in Arizona any day now. :cheers

Nice Jason!! Where did you go - would have been great seeing you on the road.

The road to mine is so buried in construction / mud there could be no way of getting her out..

How did she drive? Start well?

Started right up with no problems. Drove great. Took it out to a house in Minnetrista for an event tomorrow night.

Awesome. I took mine out for a five mile loop to get the engine warm a couple of weeks ago. I can't stand just looking at it. Felt good, but with the goodyears I'm afraid to do anything except crawl around. Need to order some new scuds.

Ive got the Bridgestones and the car was fine, however, I probably did not exceed 10% throttle in my 15 mile trip.

Tony,

That's Saguaro Lake. It's about 30 minutes from my home in north Scottsdale.

It's damn near March son what have you been doing all winter?

My car runs great but I haven't been able to run it hard yet. GT Speed Day at Mojave will be the real test. It starts easy, has a mean lopey idle like a 1960's muscle car, is much stronger in 1st gear with the turbo boost limiter, and pulls hard. The proof will be on the pudding (or not) in April.

I'm shocked (and impressed) you drove it over.

Good for you.

Bringing it home yesterday was in the low 30s with sporadic snow flakes. But the roads were bone dry. I was nervous but she did well.

Nicely done Jason!

Really (really) getting the itch to drive... hopefully spring is close?

Curious about the event - hope it was a blast!!
