The "famous" selling their GTs

Don't know if they know something we don't , but on a flight home from Chicago today the DuPont Registry has GTs for sale from the Parnell Jones and Roger Penske collections (the latter also on ebay)

Maybe they are just thinning out the herd. Prices do seem up.

I got a call last week from the Mgr. of Penske's F store here in Edison NJ........He asked if I was interested in a Red/4 option car with less that 100 miles.....I said sure....he said 198K takes it...I said....nice money...if you can get it......so the market might be the reason for the sale?

There are rumors around about Penske's health, don't know the accuracy of them, but that's the rumor as to why he's selling a number of the cars. I don't know if the price they're asking is because that's where they think the market is, or that's what they think the market should be for a celebrity owned almost no mileage car

IMHO, celebrity owned adds ZERO value to one of these cars. Actually, I am usually more reserved about buying a celebrity car.
