Just wanted to thank everyone for a great site, where members help each other out, offer great advice, and work together to create new products for our cars.

Good Job DBK and mods.

That is all I wanted to say.

I am going to have another drink now. :willy

Stormcat, why don't you learn to get your hind end in the shop and finish the bottle holders? Your good buddy, Frank

After the Car & Driver event, we decided to go a little more "race car" with the Yellow GT. The current Heffner Twin Turbo setup is ideal for what it was designed for, running on the street. I wanted a little more.

We are going through the motor with the more extreme mindset and adding a bunch of HP. Should have a completely different look than anything that has been done before :banana

Shooting for 1500 RWHP and a motor that will live at 8500 RPM... :banana

Thank you Peak, and all the other members who contribute productively to the site, which is essentially 99.9% of the membership. :cheers

I read alot of forums, and what goes on here is truly a unique phenomenon. I just think the typical Ford GT owner is a strange bird. There are very few "brand" guys here, everyone owns a little bit of everything, and it definitely takes a special kind of car enthusiast to spend 175k on something with the blue oval on the hood. The fact that we rarely have to make executive decisions on what we can and can't allow speaks to the quality of the people we have here, in real life AND on the internet.

This site has been purely about the car, the community, the camaraderie, and nothing else! I've had some ridiculous offers thrown my way from time to time, but the tag on the forum reads "priceless".

And thank you, DBK, for all that you and our fearless moderator do "behind the scenes" for the benefit of the group. Most of us have no idea what you ACTUALLY do both in time and $$ to make all that we are as a forum happen. :thumbsup :cheers

I will second that. Thanks to Dave, the other moderators and the fellow board members for doing a terrific job keeping the forum classy.

I'd like to add my thanks as well. To Dave, Bony and the moderators and especially the content providers and the great real life friends I've made here. The quality and class within this place is peerless.

And that's just the forum! The car is better than I imagined, in every sense! :thumbsup

While I don't post as much as I used to, I still visit a couple times a day. I'll go back to being a post whore when I get my next GT. What I love about this site is there is no drama, and everyone here is very friendly. Even when it is heated, it is luke warm. If you need something, members are ready to help you out instead of laugh at you. This is truly a special place.

This would also be a good time to remind those of you that have not contributed to the site, to please do so. Let's make sure this site stays alive. :cheers

I would like to second that proposal and encourage anyone that hasn't contributed to this Forum to do so today. This Forum can be a great Forum only with support monitarily from its members and great leadership as Dave is doing. Donate from your heart and this Forum will continue to be first class. Really what would we do without it? Tomy Hamon

I agree 100% about this forum and the people involved. Dave is a great asset. I also used to view a number of forums. It's pretty much down to this one. :thumbsup

I can't even begin to tell you how much I've learned about the GT itself, and enthusiasts' cars in general, from this site. Not to mention the completely off-the-wall humor and camaraderie which is part and parcel of this community. I love it. I feel fortunate to have found it here. And I'm very grateful to DBK, Bony, and the moderators for all that they have done to make this such a gracefully twisted place.
