Just got a call from Lidio at Alternative in Mi. working on my 06. He is sending me all the dyno but with just conservitive tuning on the dyno to the car totally stock he has found some serious gains in HP & TQ

If interested I will post:
  • Stock pulls
  • Total Stock with tune (approx 50Hp)
  • KB & Accufab W/SCT tuner

Picking up the car today. Lidio is installing the Jay's vent breather deal today as well. Belly pans cleaned oil changed all parts installed, dynos done and drivability cold and hot done. What a guy. I know it sounds like a plug for Alternative but I think it is a service to all of us on the midwest to find someone who as good as he is. Once I get all the info I will post the results.

tpraceman keep us posted. I'm about 3hrs away in Canada and would love to have someone that REALLY knows what he is doing on these cars. 3hrs each way in the GT would be great ride for the day.

Well hello GT bud's.
Impressed....That I am!:thumbsup

Here are the numbers and later I will load the graphs from the CD Lidio gave me when I picked up the car.

531.6 RWHP 476.7 TQ Bone stock
581.3 RWHP 508.4 TQ Bone Stock with just tunning.
644.6 RWHP 596.0 TQ KB snout/Accufab/SCT/Alternative [Tuner]

Lidio went very conservitive on the A/R mix and worked a bunch on smooth drivability a 1000 RPM I can put my foot into it and no knock just stead acceleration.

Made a quick I94 blast last night to 180 [and I do mean quick].

I know now what the term "WICKED FAST" means.

What was the cost of the parts and labour for this tuning enhancement?

My question as well, although the post implies that the pulley is stock for all runs.

Great results!
These are right on par with most others that have had these mods done, so I think the shop did a great job!

Most people are seeing about 100rwhp and 110rwtq over stock with 2.7-2.8" pulley and a tune. While I don't know what pulley size you used, I'll bet it's one of those sizes.

If you get a Whipple upgrade at some point in the future you will see another 100+rwhp and 100+rwtq, depending on pulley size.

Currently I don't have the charts in digital format to post. i could scan them I guess and maybe I will do that Sunday when I get back from family out of down duties.

But I can answer a few.

  1. The Oct is 93 and the tune is conservitive i want to say well under 12.0 A/R
  2. Like I said 1000RPM & flat pedal in any gear and no nock what so ever.
  3. Smooth as silk no surges.
  4. Pully I beleive is the 2 5/8" And we saw a bit over 17 psi at times.

The cost, I don't know what Lidio will charge now that he has documented everything but here is what he did for me.

  1. Length of time 3 days
  2. Drive on hoist only for all work.
  3. towel wrapped and tie wraped cables to protect.
  4. Did a complete oil change.
  5. Removed and cleaned all belly pans and detailed motor.
  6. Stock Dyno pulls
  7. Installed KB snout and drive with sterring pump spacer.
  8. Dyno Tuned and real world test drive and tune.
  9. Washed and detailed car.
  10. Supplied complete step by step digital photos of work in process.

$ 4,700

his final numbers said with "KB snout", that means with a different pulley. Youre NOT going to get that kind of power without a boost.
