While thanking Dr. AtomicGT for once again helping me out with a medical issue I came across this nice little article on the net and thought the GT Brethren might enjoy the read.
Thanks again Doc!

a red 1966 Shelby GT 350 – a fastback Ford Mustang coupe turned quasi-racer, thanks to the legendary driver and car builder Carroll Shelby – with just 600 original miles on the odometer

Wow, I would not have believed such a low mile car existed. :eek

We gotta help these writer's when they they attempt to wax 'technical' about the FGT - 'The sleek design of its fiberglass body pays homage to the legendary Ford GT 40':ack

"One car he polishes very little is the GT , which doesn’t get dirty because it seldom leaves the garage :)skep“). I can’t get it out of the driveway because it’s so low it bottoms out at the edge of the street,” he says with a smile. “So it’s just a piece of art, something to look at and admire." :eek :bang

Aaaah-hummmmmm!!! I assume POCKETS will now be "retired" as the official poster (whipping?) boy for garage queen owners??? :rofl

I REGRADED my driveway so I could (and DID!) get #1079 out on the road!

Now, all b.s. aside, the professional accomplishments our good doctor has accumulated is most impressive. Kudos, sir.

Our man is in the UK at the moment - I will be seeing him for several beers early next week and if he hasn't already seen this thread, I shall pass on your regards!
