I am confused, does anyone know why some of the seat buttons are silver and most of them are black?

As far as I am aware, N/A to production cars (praise God). Ford promo photos and probably the Concept car(s) only.

I agree, I thought maybe they were done on the first 500 or there were so many complaints of the look that they changed. Thanks for the info

'Strictly looks.
The silver buttons could be seen from Pluto. So, they became the visual focal point of the interior, and as such they looked kinda "gimicky".
The black ones, by contrast, just "blend in" better.

The seats with the silver buttons are available from Genaddi.

I like the silver buttons. But haven't seen them in person.

Here's a close-up. Wasn't the focus of the picture however.

The silver buttons (if aluminum) and never used in production cars aluminum have the built in advantages of being even harder and thereby more uncomfortable than the standard plastic black buttons and holding more heat.

I spoke the other day to the guys here in Italy that make them. The silver ones are painted, if I remember correctly.
