I got 3 million on the first race :lol

Looks to be a real snoozer. I wonder if the cars alone can "make the movie"...

Enzo? Carrera GT? FGT? S7? SLR? Flipping a Carrera GT over an Enzo?

Hey, I wasted my money on F & F, I'll damn sure see this for the car shots alone. Watch the interview clips on that site. The gal is Hawt, although I've never heard of her before... Nadia Bourland

[Edit] The last interview clip almost made me change my mind about seeing the movie... Almost. [/Edit]

Ok guys here is some of the scoop. A gentleman named Jim Churchman was the stunt coordinator of that film and they shot alot of it in Vegas. The Carrera GT was recked when it went into the side of the mountain while speeding up a curvy mountain road. The producer of the film went into The Wynn and purchased 3 cars on the spot, 1 being a lambo and then an Enzo and I forget what the other was. There is a scene when the Lambo flies under a tracktor trailer and what you don't see is when the rear end gets loose and clips a parked Mercedes that one of the stunt guys was sitting in. The guy driving the Lambo was Chuck Norris' son. Apparently he races in the lower relms of NASCAR. My buddy BUBA (aka Tim SITARZ) was sitting in the Merc.Funny thing is that ther was only a scratch on the Lambo Rim but the Mercs' front end was ripped off!!!

This is where it gets sad.... Yes,..... A GT was also in this film and was totaled tooo. My understanding was many a dirt roads... That's all I can say.. Unfortunately I didn't work on that film but a handful of my other buddies did. I believe in the clip/trailer a Carrera GT flies through the frame, That was a kit car that the ratcheted with a wrap to get it to cork screw though the air.

Hope you guys enjoyed the info more than the movie and if any of you are interested in making your own film, let me know.

You can go to www.imdb.com to look those guys up that I mentioned above to see the rest of their credits.

See you guys at the rally. Look me up :thumbsup

Question, any chance for the public to get on a set and watch the filming of an action movie. I know lots of folks that would pay for the chance. What a super auction item for BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF FRESNO COUNTY's 10TH ANNUAL STEPPING OUT FOR KIDS GALA (9/23) <cheap hint & ask> :biggrin
Great way to help us aid our kids :cheers

Bony,
I think that is very possible. A bunch of us stuntmen put on a charity stunt show for halloween every year. We've been falling of off Kirsten Dunsts house for 3 years now. Last years event was huge and I think we raised about 30K for Abused children of LA. This year Our choice is "The Make a Wish Foundation". There are people I can talk to after our event in Detroit to see what can be done in regards to visiting a TV or Movie set. If I'm working as the Stunt Coordinator it's not a problem at all. When you get a chance, send me info in regards to your kids.

tmstunts,
Do you Sammy Maloof? He's a buddy of mine who owns a car and engine shop and keeps pretty busy as a stunt driver. Did alot of work on the Fast and Furious movies and a couple weeks ago drove a Saleen S7 for a movie, though I don't know what the title is.

Here is an old, but fun article that compares the Enzo, Ford GT, and Carrera GT, as they all go for the magic number:

Gotta love that last picture that shows all of the ignition keys lined up together. At least they didn't show our alarm key fob...

I do know him or of him... He works alot and sponsors one of my buddies cars in a race that the stuntguys do a couple of times a year. This car is usually the fastest and most powerful.. its a 69 chevelle I believe. How do you know Sammy?
