Anyone have some recommendations on snowmobiles, I need a 2-up for my daughter and I,shes 7. I don’t need to fly just some recreation about 10 times a year if that. thanks

I sold everything last, year got out. There is only one sled to buy and that is Ski Doo.

Awesome, quick question why did you stop? Do you think it's worth it fornthe long run?

I also like Ski Doo. We have 2 adult size sleds. I did have a optional seat for one, that would allow 2 people to ride comfortably, but there are only hand holds on the rear sides of the seat. They have a model that can come with 2 seat with a back and handles on it. (GSX I think). A 600cc engine sled would be plenty.. They also make a 500 air cooled , but the 600 E Tec is very user friendly. Tried to link their web site but the server was too busy in the US. www.skidoo.com..
We also have 2 smaller sleds for the kids. Made by Yamaha, there 1991 models. There where 2 sizes produced, a Sno Scoot (80cc engine) and Sno Sport(125cc engine)..
The Scoots can be found on craigslist and ebay...Great for the kids riding around the house. http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/epic_snow/1988_snoscoot_small.aspx
It's a great sport, but very weather dependent, both good and bad.

I had to trailer 2 hours to get to good trails at Chattauqua Lake. Got to be a real hassle.

Never thought I would say it, but my 120 MPH sled days may be over. For limited use I do not think you could go wrong with any of the remaining manufacturers. Look for the required features and maybe a slightly used or left over model.

What's a snowmobile? I don't think Ive seen one in TEXAS!

Is that you in the summitx pics?

It's me and a couple of friends. I think for the most part I am wearing the black Troy Lee helmet in most pics. They span over several years with newer pics at the top. It's hard to describe rolling out of the lot on a crisp Colorado morning with endless powder to be shredded all day long. I've done a lot of things in my life and been many places. I'm not sure anything compares :)
