I was sorting through some pictures and thought I would share them. The first one was from a Sheriff helicopter just before we moved in and the second one is the sunrise as seen from the master bedroom.

That's very impressive.

Reminder - you were going to send me the contact info of the craftsmen you used.

They did incredible work!! Just about everything was handmade from the iron work to the cabinetry:thumbsup:cheers

Simply stunning.

......and to think a guy that runs around with gold chains and speedos could have the taste to pull this off.

Beautiful.

Is that the outline of your parcel (Boundary of fences and yard)?

Up here they wouldn't let us build that close to the property line on a parcel that size or have that much impervious surface as a percentage of the parcel.

I thought you guys had us beat on the "environmental" protection issues. :confused

The assessor must love you. :bored

:usa

It looks to be a wonderful place to disappear

Thank you for sharing

I like. Just enough house to not make the garage space look so overwhelming!!!

Great choice in house and cars. Gorgeous

Love that doorway, also like the way you combined round & strait surfaces. The roof looks cool also. When can we come over for the house warming party!:cheers

Wow I am very proud of you.

Someday I hope to get a chance to see it in person...are you going to sell tickets to us poor single GT owners?

Wow, very impressive!

Sam, Best looking house I have seen in a while! Is there a Nardo room? I could live comfortably just off the utility bills. CONGRATS!:thumbsup:cheers

Beautiful house and the cars aren't bad either. :thumbsup :cheers

looks baller!!! i know exactly where you live as i know just where that cross on the hill is :thumbsup nice location :cheers

That's an absolutely vulgar display of wealth. Congratulations! :cheers

I just looked at the picture again--did you used to be on "Dynasty":wink

Something's missing??

Houses like that normally have topless girls sunning themselves out by the pool. :cheers

What a beautiful place. :thumbsup

very nice!

Congratulatons Sam. :thumbsup
Excellent concept and incredible execution of the build.

Thank you all for all the kind words. The house is 4 bedrooms with the fourth being the smallest - discourage relatives from staying. This was my first attempt at constructing anything and it was the most challenging effort I have ever undertaken.

I wanted to put a brass pole in the theater but the wife said no, it will only encourage my boys.

In Los Angeles County the setbacks are 15 feet, mostly due to being in the highest fire zone rating but we provisioned for that with 140 sprinkler heads, a private fire hydrant and absolutely no exposed wood. The garages are resin board stained to look like real wood.

The project took approximately 15 months from beginning to end.

I think I can have up to 20 GTs with no issues, so soon I'll host you guys.

BTW, I often wondered where the blue/orange color schema for the Gulf cars... I think the picture if this sunset may be it.

Cheers for now.
