The story on the bath robes is that the Fairmont Spa tells you to get robed up in your room before any appointments. So all week, you'll be there sitting in the restaurant eating your lunch and 4 yahoos will be wearing bath robes eating next to you, or you'll be walking to your car and there'll 2 people in robes sitting on a bench outside the entrance having a chat. It's both bizarre and amusing, so a number of us decided that proper attire for dinner would be bath robes.

The only way to pull off robes would be if they were worn commando style. If there were clothes on underneath that completely negates any coolness factor...

Post-Rally Rally dinner at Cabo Wabo, Harvey's casino, Stateline NV. Lots of Sammy Hagar photos on the walls, including some with cars, but none with him and his GT.

Great memories! Thanks for all the nice shots of SRRY4RE, I rarely see that perspective. Once the trophy and the GT get back to FL, they'll both need a proper bath (and sterilization for the Rally Cup Trophy).

Do you know Matt and Danielle? Great people and their no stripes GT really rocks the red! And, apparently, they know their palm trees better than we do. :lol

I was thinking of another run to St Pete, but after about 2k miles on the GT in a week, I think I need to let it and myself rest up. BTW, the GT Guys found a big crack along a weld on my FRPP muffler.

I haven't met them yet. Rick on the forum (GT35065) has a no stripe red GT too. We have a nice contingent of GTs in our area. Let me know if you need help with the muffler. There is a very good welder locally if you want to patch it up. It would be a good time to polish that nasty thing too.
