I know many of us have extra parts around the garage or wherever. Maybe we should post a "garage sale" thread to move around the what not around the group. I know there are a few things that I am looking for spare wise that some of you probably have laying around collecting dust.

I have a spare battery charger, car cover, tow hook, lug nuts, spare ford axle bolt kit, among others items. PM me if you are interested in any of these.

Pocket's garage has already pretty much been cleaned out. All I have left that isn't GONE or spoken for is an Accufab 'bolt kit and both lower 'lense covers for the front end. :frown

I have the usual orphans left over from upgrades: Original shift linkage, OEM muffler, FRP Polished Coolant and Oil Caps as well as the OEM Caps, OEM Coil Covers, Heavy Duty Indoor/Outdoor California Car Cover. If anyone is interested I won't be greedy.

is the california cover the flannel one?

No, not flannel. It's California Car Cover's top of the line "Weathershield" material, P/N C16717WD, cost to me was $320. I found it too bulky for my needs. If I planned to use it outdoors, even occasionally, I'd keep it.

Tow hook and battery charger are gone. I'm about to order either a stillen or accufab x pipe .. does anyone have one or a take off before I order? Just looking to clear out the closets guys ... I also have a ton of Lotus stuff too... :biggrin

I have (1) drivers seat and (1) passenger seat for sale. They are from different cars so the shine level is slightly different between the two but they are in as new condition. I am trying to sell them as a pair but am considering seperating them. These are like $8000 new each. I'll sell the pair for that.

I think they run about $3,500 ea. from Ford, Jim - unless they've gone up in the last 9 mo or so. (I don't know if they did.) (Justa heads up...:cheers)

Thanks for the offer Jim but I think Empty Pockets is right. I just spoke with my friend in the auto restoration business and he can get a new seat bottom from Ford for $2400.00 and a new seat back for $2500. He found there is still availability.

The Seat uppers are $3591.67 new from Ford, the lowers are $3888.00 and the seat tracks with towel bars are $484.80 from Ford. That's about $7963 for each seat. I have the seats with the towel bar/tracks complete. That's why I stated $8000. I suppose I should not have rounded the remaining $37 to $8000, because several people have e-mailed me that they are less than $8000. I guess I contend that with tax, they will be $8440.78. So I rounded and have apparantly caused much consternation with people regarding my statement that they are $8K new from Ford. Whew Golly you guys are tough!

Krymuny!!! They HAVE gone up then!

About 9 months ago my local Ford parts man told me a complete seat was $3,500 - give or take a few bux (all I wanted was the UPHOLSTERY, but he said, "no es poseble", I had to order the whole seat).

At the same time, I wanted to order JUST THE PLASTIC COVERS for the headlights. Again the story was the same. 'No could do. 'Had to order the entire headlight ass'bly - $900+. So, I suppose THOSE are up in price now as well? :ack

Really. The prices I received were only from about a month ago on the seat back and bottom. I should have bought about 20 seats a couple of years ago....I could retire on the profit! I'm hearing prices around $1400 a piece on the headlight assemblies now. Where's those parts cars when you need them.....
