no regrets

well, #1451 is on its way to elite !
i know its hard to believe, but never being able to drive it anywhere around here, always worrying about it getting damaged on these wonderful jersey roads, and having to store it away each winter for 5 months, i decided to let her go.
i have no regrets. my gt was the best car i have owned out of hundreds. i can say i had it and i enjoyed it as much as i could.
i think the new zr1 will be much easier to drive around here and enjoy. i have already put in an unofficial order for one.
i will be listing many gt related items in the next few days. such as gt wall art, many signed and unsigned diecast, remote controls, serv manuals, center caps, car covers, original saleen build book for #1451, rear hatch vent louvers, etc, etc. i would prefer selling them to gt members first, before i list them on ebay.
i also sold elite my gt500(i was never excited about it after having owned a saleen extreme). i still have 7 cars, and for now that is more then enough untill the new challenger and zr1 come in.
i hope that i will still be considered a friend, and i would like to be an active member of this wonderful forum.

my house is(was) market valued at a tad over a million. with todays market and the market outlooks for the next few years, i would be luck to sell it for 5-600,000.(and thats if it sells)

I felt that we were just starting to know you,.and that funny humourous side of you that you have displayed here on the GTFORUM. I am really sorry that you have decided to let her go, but hey....we all have to move on at times...I do hope you remain here with us, posting as you would have before, as a dear friend. I was hoping to meet you at a get together surely by next spring. Althought without your lady, I sure hope we can get together sometime next year, at one of the local shows in our area. Keep up with your post's, as some of us have come to enjoy them very much....

It started with about 10 people on this forum, then sam and I met at the atlantic city auction . Never met each other , just pass emails , that day we hung around for 8 hours! like we knew each other since kids..:thumbsup. SAMS THE ONLY ONE ON THE GTJOEY GT , SIGNED SAM THE JEEP MAN. been walking around all day like i lost my best friend
the gt space in the garage is already occupied by another of my toys, but it was there, and now it is not !!!!!
i just read many private emails and the posts pertaining to "my no regrets"
you guys are the best(especially mr. empty pockets with his very moving private email).
i love all you guys, and you will all have a big impact on my memories of gt ownership.
don't worry i will be lurking on these boards as long as i permitted to.

I can assure you that I paid more than wholesale. I am sure Sam will PM you if he wants to disclose it. So far Sam has been great to work with . A real stand up Guy!
