Hellcat, I called Caroll Shelby's Mgr., and I am waiting for his return call to find out if indeed he will be attending, and if they will set up something for him to do a signing session. From the SAAC ppl, I was told that at this time they have made no provision for this. Also, GTJOEY is joining the group for the day, and as we get closer we will figure out where to meet, and as we go North, pick up ppl on the way. I suggest getting on the road very early so as to avoid traffic on I 95 N.
I shall post as info. comes in.

Just got a call from the Shelby camp...and yes, Carrol will be attending with his wife Cleo, and the Pres. of Shelby Ent. Amy Boyle. They are not sure if there will be a time set aside for signing...and that" he is coming strictly to have fun"... Let's set up a time and place to meet for those that are driving up in the morning of Sat the 25th.

Ok, lets have suggestions as to time and place to meet up and maybe put it to a poll vote. I may bring my son so I may not be driving the GT but the Land Rover instead so you guys will have to keep the speed down so I can keep up :eek

Any suggestion as to what part I can take off for signature. I was thinking sun visor.

Just got another call from Caroll Shelby's people. They claim that it is doubtful that he would sign anything at the Tasca Show. Would it hurt to try? absolutely not....but to you guys that are going just for his signing, be aware that it can get difficult to get his signature....Why dont we make it a FGT get together, anyone can drive anything there....we can drive FGT's...why dont we?

if i can figure out how to take my dash panel off my 500(the one over the passenger air bag), i will bring it with me and do my best to get it signed by the man.

Yes,i will be there.

I live at the tip of cape cod, so i have to travel to go any where.Ill bring
the whipple car,It looks so cool whith the 22s +20s.The yellow car has pulley
and all the other goods but the whipple car is so much fun to drive

I am happy to hear that many fellow Ford GT owners will be coming down for the big event. Carroll Shelby will definitely be here, as well as NHRA superstar John Force. There will be a massive car show, food, live music, and a king of the street dyno shootout on our Dyno Dynamics chassis dyno. Admission is two non-perishable food items to benefit the local food bank.

Please let me know how many Ford GT's you guys are bringing so I can reserve you some spaces. Last year we had an entire display area for the GT's and it worked well. Feel free to email me at cat@tasca.com for further details.
