Guys,

I have been chatting with the owner of Group 1 automotive, (all the Sterling McCall dealers, plus many others in Houston and across the country) who just happens to be a former Ford employee, FGT owner, and all around cool dude.

Sterling McCall just took over what used to be Freeway Ford on 59 and Hillcroft. They are interested in hosting our next gathering, including drinks/food.

We are brainstorming on potential dates in June.....either a weeknight or possibly a weekend afternoon.


I'd like to take a poll on your preferences....thoughts?

I'll be busy with Classy Chassis too....they are displaying my TT Gallardo, and I'll probably be autocrossing the ZR1. I'm trying to see if we can do the following Saturday, June 18...how does that date look for everyone?

I'm up for either weeknight or weekend, but prefer weekend. I may be overseas for a month starting in the back-half of June, but as Sanjay knows, will DEFINITELY be home for the second part of July to play with the MP-4 demo car when it comes to Houston.

Guys, Earl Hesterberg, the CEO of Group 1, has approved Saturday, 6/18, at the new Sterling McCall Ford, formerly Freeway Ford on 59 and Hillcroft. They are going to put on a nice little event for us....more details to follow soon!
